Coach ABO has been a high school teacher and coach for 38 years, spending the first 33 years of his career in Guilford County, NC and the last five in Danville, VA. A true veteran in the classroom and on the field and court, he has coached football, basketball, and lacrosse at the youth, middle school, AAU, and high school levels for more than 30 years. Most recently he was the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Western Guilford from 2018–2021.
Coach Abo is more than excited to help coach in and grow The Drew League, as he is anxious to grow the lacrosse community in the Triad.
