
Tristin Terry began his lacrosse career in 7th grade as a midfielder before stepping into the goalie position after his team's starting goalie suffered an injury. That moment sparked a passion for the position that would shape the rest of his playing and coaching career.
Tristin went on to play high school lacrosse as a goalie at Southwest Guilford High School before continuing his collegiate career at Montreat College, where he competed as a goalie while studying Cyber Security. Following college, he proudly served four years in the United States Army.
After returning home, Tristin rejoined Southwest Guilford High School in 2023 as the Defensive Coordinator, where he continues to help develop defensive talent and mentor student-athletes both on and off the field.
In addition to coaching, Tristin remains highly active in the adult lacrosse community. He founded the Mighty Drunks adult league team, leading the program to multiple championship runner-up finishes while capturing two Hunger Games titles and the 2025 NC Fusion Adult League B Division Championship. Known for his leadership, competitiveness, and passion for the game, Tristin continues to make an impact in the lacrosse community at every level.
